Our Mission

AI is rewriting the world, but choosing a tool shouldn't be hard.

Hundreds of new AI tools launch every day, each promising to "change everything." Most are just wrapped demos. Tools Pick exists for one reason: to save your time. We are a collective of engineers and creators dedicated to digging up the tools that actually solve problems, not just create hype.

How We Evaluate

We don't accept "perfect demos" from vendors. All our reviews are based on stress-testing in real-world environments:

1. Battle-Tested

It's not enough to say a tool "writes code." We use it to refactor a 5,000-line legacy project and see if it breaks. We verify real-world utility.

2. Data-Driven

We cross-reference LMSYS Chatbot Arena ELO scores, HumanEval benchmarks, and our own latency tests. "Vibes" are subjective; numbers aren't.

3. Continuous Monitoring

Models get "lazy", and services degrade/deprecate features. Our reviews aren't static. We revisit our top picks to ensure they still deserve the crown.

Tools Pick is reader-supported.

We do not accept paid rankings. No company can buy a spot on our "Best Of" lists.
We do not publish sponsored posts disguised as reviews.
If a tool is bad, we will tell you.
